When the Jewish department store Alsberg in Bielefeld was taken over, the Gestapo gave us a list of names of members of our people who continued purchasing in the Jewish department store after 1 January 1935. Unfortunately, this list includes a number of party members who have important positions in a variety of state agencies. Those who come from the district of Lippe are: Lux, Johann, dr. Schoetmar, Schuelerstr. 16.
April 1937 Klessmann, Gustav, Dr. Lemgo, Am wall.
August 1938 I request that the District chiefs investigate these cases and take further measures, should this be necessary.

When the Jewish department store of Alsberg in Bielefeld was taken over, it was unfortunately discovered that you also belonged to the clientele of this Jew firm and that your latest purchase there was made in April 1937. Please let us know immediately the extent of your business connections with this firm, and what else you have to declare in this matter.
